In bar 3 all sources feature a completely unjustified  (cautionary?) to the first G note. In FC a respective  was also added in bar 4 (in pencil). We do not consider this accidental to be part of FC, since it was added by the reviser of GE. In addition to GE, the latter was also added in EE. In the main text we omit both accidentals.

The sharp in bar 3 must have been entered into [A] by Chopin. According to us, it could be an echo of the initial notation of bars 1-2, in which the top R.H. minim was written down as g1.

The in tempo indication was most probably added as part of the Chopinesque proofreading of FE. There is a similar situation in bar 57. The change of the preposition from in to a was an arbitrary decision of the engraver/reviser of EE.

In bars 54, 56-57 and 62 particular sources do not include some of the slurs linking the semiquaver to the chord. A comparison of the versions suggests that both in FC and FE at least one slur present in [A] was left out. On the other hand, both in EE and GE the texts of the bases were revised by adding slurs, yet none of them did it consistently.

In FE there is no  raising a to a. The patent inadvertence, typical of Chopin, was corrected in EE. The correct text is also to be found in FC (→GE).
